I had high hopes for this comforter after the rave reviews. I didn't open it until a month and a half after purchasing due to remodeling the bedroom it was to go in. It was very wrinkled when I took it out of the package so, since it was a twin, I felt it was small enough to put in the dryer on low heat. After about 4 minutes, I went in and opened the dryer. It smelled as if it was on fire! I pulled the comforter out but it was damaged beyond saving. It had huge brown singe marks on it. The "stuffing" felt as if it had melted against the cotton cover. Too late to return, so this was a very expensive lesson. A word of caution if you have purchased this comforter and you are a smoker. I believe it would catch fire very quickly if a burning item such as a cigarette or candle fell on it.
