Ok, I read the reviews for these sheets before I purchased. So I knew I wasn't getting 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton. I knew they were microfiber. I knew some people thought they were thin and scratchy. However, given the mixed reviews and the bargain price, I decided to go ahead and purchase them. I am SO glad I did!
The sheets arrived quickly (<3 prime!) and were packaged in a brand-new unopened PVC-type zipper bag. I immediately washed them and put them on my bed. So SOFT!
This set more comfortable than the microfiber set I purchased from Kohl's for $60 a few months ago. I am very pleased with the quality. They are the same "thinness" as regular sheets. (I'm wondering if some folks think they're super-thin because they're white? Yes, you can see through them if you hold them up to the light. But not once you put them on your bed.) Anyway, they look great and I've experienced no issues with the stitching.
Bottom line: If you are expecting to get 1500 thread count Egyptian cotton (normally ~ $200) sheets for 25 bucks, you're going to be pissed. The description is cleverly misrepresentative of what you're actually getting. But if you just want really fantastic, luxurious sheets for not much money, this is the set to buy.
